For my son's 13th birthday he wanted to go to Laser Tag. I had seen archery tag through a friend's facebook video. I mentioned it to my son and he thought it sounded fun. It was more than fun. The kids had a blast. We rented it for my son and a few friends to play at our house, but my son's soccer team had an end of the year party that day so we took it to the party and set it up. The party lasted about 6 hours and the game was used non-stop, by kids aged 8 to 40.
We had to put time limits on the game because there was always a line to play. We loaded the game up and came home. My son and his friends set the game up right away and played well into the night. The lights on the back of the house gave them just enough light to see each other. I turned the light off a few times, but then they could not see the arrows coming at them. (they did not like that)
The next morning they came up with an idea for a game called "deer hunter". Guess who the deer was!!!!! Yea that is right, Dad. The kids worked with a partner. I would walk down a trail. If I saw them I could run anywhere I wanted. They got a point each time they hit me. One would chase me into another's path. They hid in trees, one kid took his shirt off and used it as a decoy. (it was 50 degrees out)
Needless to say that was fun for the boys. They had a blast. Would recommend it to anyone. Many of the boys had never shot a bow and had a great time. No one was hurt by the arrows.
