The 2nd Annual Great American Outdoor Show (GAOS) held at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center in Harrisburg from February 7-15, 2015 was a big hit! This year's nine-day show featured 1,100 exhibitors (about 100 more than last year), 200 outdoor seminars/demonstrations, daily celebrity appearances, and more than a dozen special events including a concert featuring Lee Brice, Thompson Square, and Josh Thompson.
Last year, severe winter storms, and even one state of emergency, significantly reduced the traffic to the show for days at a stretch. That was not the case this year—the parking lot was full, vendors were busy, and the attendees seemed happy! According to the Hershey Harrisburg Regional Visitors Bureau (HHRVB), there was a 2.3% increase in attendance over the 2014 inaugural event, with over 175,000 passing through the doors!
We again brought Archery Tag® and S.A.F.E. Archery® and we were very busy, just as we were last year. We presented our family-friendly combat archery and Hoverball® Archery Targets were in the arena. In our Archery Hall booth we had a standard inflatable target and a smaller version that was a hit with the younger shooters! Take a look at the images below.
