About Us
The Recreation and Wellness Center (RWC) is IWU's primary site for health education and fitness. One of the most popular spots in the RWC is the Intramural Activity Center (IAC), a large multipurpose area comprising three full-sized basketball courts. This area is available for basketball, indoor volleyball, badminton, ultimate Frisbee, Archery Tag® and soccer. Above the IAC is an elevated walking and jogging track. The RWC also offers a fitness room, a free-weight room, four racquetball courts, and an indoor climbing wall. There's also the Luckey Arena, another full-size basketball court where varsity basketball and volleyball compete, as well as a six-lane, short course (25-yard) competitive swimming pool offering one-meter diving. All recreational and training equipment in these areas is accessible to IWU students, staff, and faculty members, as well as to a limited number of community members each year.
