About Us
ARMORY - Where are we? A clear description of our location and maintains a connection to the history this building has with our community. YOUTH - Who are we here for? Focuses in on those we desire to serve. PROJECT - What is our purpose? This term emphasizes that this is not just a place to come as an attender, but an ongoing movement for teens to be involved participants. We take action; giving opportunities to be a part of something big moving forward. EMPOWERING YOUTH OF MANISTEE COUNTY: "Empower" emphasizes our model to have youth make their own goals, take their own steps and take ownership over their choices rather than becoming dependent upon us for answers and support. We will provide encouragement and opportunities to develop positive wellbeing in all areas of life without creating a dependency upon us. Finally, we want to serve all students in Manistee County, not just here in our city.
