About Us
Our programs adopt the keystone Club Themes of Leadership, Teamwork, Learning For Life, Healthy Choices, and Service to Club and Community into all activities.
Programs at the Boys and Girls Club have a focus in four areas:
Learning and Career Development: Programs that enable children and youth to develop and achieve their educational goals, career aspirations, and embrace life-long learning. These programs result in increased homework completion, improved literacy skills, and educational programs linked to Curriculum provided by Ontario Certified Teachers.
Physical Activity, Health, and Safety: Programs that develop and increase young people's capacity to make healthy choices and engage in positive behaviors that promote their safety and well-being.
Leadership, Growth, and Empowerment: Programs that nurture confidence in children and youth, provide opportunities to develop and practice leadership skills, and empower them to support and influence their community.
Families and Communities: Programs that build the capacities of families and communities to support the health and aspirations of children and youth.
