ESCAPE...a simple word, used daily by countless individuals. This definition of 'ESCAPE' is rooted deep into our core beliefs at Camp Tanglewood. "δραπετεύω" (Greek) - to get free "ESCAPE" literally means to go out of one's mantle, or to exit what covers us. Our world today doesn't allow time for us to truly ESCAPE the world we live in. Camp Tanglewood longs to be a place for people from all walks of life to come and see the beauty that our Creator has made. Our belief is that we provide an environment that can set you free from all of our worldly struggles, even if just for a few days. During this time, we trust that God is at work during the camps and retreats. We have seen life change in children, all the way up to adults. Upon formation of Camp Tanglewood, the theme of ESCAPE continues to be the driving force for our mission at Camp Tanglewood. As you gather, unplug, and encounter Christ, we pray that your time here will be spirit filled and life changing. None of this is possible without your prayers and monetary support.
