The Chickasaw Nation has tribal government headquarters located in Ada, Oklahoma and tribal jurisdiction in all, or parts, of 13 counties in south-central Oklahoma. Bill Anoatubby is the current Governor of the Chickasaw Nation. The Chickasaw Nation provides a multitude of programs and services for its citizens. The programs and services include Children, Youth, Community, Culture, Education, Elders, Employment, Enterprises/Commerce, Family, Government, Health and Wellness, Housing, and Legal.
The citizenship application establishes citizenship in the Chickasaw Nation and is open to Chickasaws who are direct descendants of enrollees on the Dawes Commission Rolls. The applicant must first establish the CDIB (Certified Degree of Indian Blood) in order to apply for citizenship. Once the applicants have submitted the application, they will receive the photo I.D. citizenship card and certificate, welcoming them to the Chickasaw Nation.
