About Us
After graduating from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2002, Grant recognized that the Lord placed a burden in his heart and his wife Michelle's heart to plant a church in Kentucky. While teaching a first grade class in Louisville, Grant felt the Lord began shaping the vision of Living Water Church. In August of 2003, LWC began meeting in the home of founding Pastor Grant and Michelle Cannoy. When you ask Grant, "Why Mt. Sterling?" He says, "The Lord said to go. I knew no one who lived in the county, and my wife knew one person. We knew, however, the One who called us here." Within one month of moving to Montgomery Co., there were around 12 -15 faithful people meeting in their home. The church began meeting together to worship, learn, and celebrate the possibilities of God. Since that time, the Lord has demonstrated His amazing work in the Mt. Sterling area. Over 400 people have professed faith in Jesus through baptism and currently around 800 people attend worship!
