Lucky Clays Farm LLC
About Us
When past Clays Shooting Champion Judy Carpenter purchased the land for Lucky Clays Farm, she had a vision to conserve and preserve the land's abundant natural resources. Today, that vision has grown into a sustainable farm and renewable energy model, as well as a unique venue for meetings, conferences, events and clays shooting enthusiasts. The property includes:
400+ acres of trails for hiking, cycling and mountain biking
Conference Center with kitchen and state-of-the-art media capabilities
Pet-friendly cottages with large porches and beautiful views
Clays target shooting including trap, FITASC and 5-Stand
Greenhouse with farm-raised tilapia and organic produce
Covered outdoor facility with patio, outdoor kitchen, automatic shutter system and entertainment/sound system
Fishing ponds stocked with bream, bass, crappie and catfish
Recognized as North Carolina's largest residential renewable energy system, Lucky Clays Farm features sustainable construction, high-efficiency building materials, indigenous plants and a rainwater harvesting system.
