About Us
The success of our campers is centered on our age-specific groups, excellent staff, and our wide variety of activities. Voted "Best Summer Camp" by CityView Magazine for ten consecutive years, Tate's Day Camp provides traditional camp activities like swimming, arts & crafts, music, hands-on nature study, archery, boating, fishing, sports, games, and group initiative activities. We also offer several camp activity surprises called "Big Blasts" that occur unannounced throughout the summer – Big Blasts may include special parties and/or guest speakers. Through hands-on activities and low counselor to camper ratios, camp builds self-esteem and provides an excellent opportunity for individual growth and maturity.
